Piedmont Medical Center is a 200,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility that will provide exceptional local care to the residents of Fort Mill, SC, and the surrounding communities. The hospital opened its doors in September 2022 at South Carolina Highway 160 and US 21.
The hospital will provide a variety of services, including the following:
· 12-bed full-service Emergency department.
· 6 multi-specialty operating rooms.
· Labor & delivery rooms.
· Cardiovascular and Orthopedics services
The one hurdle they are still facing is filling open positions. They need trained nurses. This facility requires 500 employees to operate.
