The anticipation for Opening Weekend at Carowinds, the beloved amusement park, is officially underway as the park unveils its plans for the upcoming season. Friday, March 8, is exclusively reserved for season pass holders, with the park opening to the public the following day.

 

This season promises excitement and unforgettable moments for all visitors. Building on the success of the Aeronautica Landing section's debut in 2023, Carowinds is gearing up for another fantastic year filled with thrills and entertainment.

 

Save the Date: Important Events in 2024

 

Make sure to mark your calendars for May 25 when the Carolina Harbor Waterpark kicks off its season. SCarowinds returns on select nights from September 13 to October 27, offering spine-chilling fun. Additionally, WinterFest will spread holiday cheer from November 15 to December 31. Come out and honor our nation's heroes with their stunning firework displays on Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, and Labor Day.

 

Refer to their online calendar for park hours, which primarily include Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in March, April, and May. There are exceptions, such as extended hours during the first week of April for spring break and the last week of May, signaling the start of seven-day-a-week operations. After August 17, the park will return to its weekend-only schedule.
